The conventional wisdom says big companies have the edge in AI: more data, more budget, more specialists. The benchmark says something more interesting. Alignment isn’t a function of size. A disciplined 50-person company can score higher than an undisciplined enterprise — and several do.
The reasons are structural and they favor you. You have less legacy infrastructure to retrofit, so empowering frontline staff with no-code tools is genuinely easier. Your chain of command is short enough that owner conviction reaches everyone in a week, not a fiscal year. You can reach 100% AI training quickly and cheaply.
Your size is not the thing you have to apologize for. It is the thing that lets you move.
